Vale of Rheidol Railway closed due to flood damage
A sign greeting intending passengers at the Aberystwyth station entrance as the railway sustained some damage during the extensive mid-Wales flooding on 9th June and had to be closed. The ballast was washed away from a short section of track between Llanbadarn and Glanrafon, adjacent to Afon Rheidol.
