Bassingham & Carlton-le-Moorland portrait bench
Bassingham & Carlton-le-Moorland portrait bench
Wonderful piece of public art by the recently opened cycle route between Bassingham and Carlton-le-Moorland. The Sustrans Portrait Benches are simple benches with three life-size characters chosen by the community for the contribution they have made to local life, culture or history. The two-dimensional figures are cut from Corten steel to weather and rust over time LinkExternal link
