Eco House at Crossway
Eco House at Crossway
Built in 2008-9, Crossway is one of the UK's first 'Zero Carbon' and A-A energy rated homes. When built, the one off architect designed building featured many UK firsts for innovative product implementation, and had sensors linking to Cambridge University to monitor the building. The building has no conventional heating system and it has the majority of its triple glazing to the South elevation to make the most of solar gain.

The building featured on 'Grand Designs' in February 2009, and was completed around the same time. For more information LinkExternal link
