Brasshouse Lane Pumping Station
Brasshouse Lane Pumping Station
This pumped between the new and old Wolverhampton Levels and housed a pair of steam engine driven centrifugal pumps. It replaced nearby beam pumps, including the 1779 Boulton & Watt engine now at Thinktank. It is now part of Galton Valley Canal Heritage Centre and houses a preserved steam pump from Wallsend.
