Tracks of various animals and birds have been reproduced in paint along the path surface of the Water Rail Way in this neighbourhood by Nicola Jones, Sustrans manager for Lincoln. After four years, these particular tracks are doing better than others, but the paint is wearing away and renovation is not really feasible.

The "Water Rail Way" is a cycle- and foot-path from Lincoln to Boston which forms part of National Cycle Network route 1 and here follows the old railway embankment on the north side of the River Witham.
