Sheep in pasture beside Air Shaft

To avoid the Duke of Northumberland's estate north of Alnwick, the Alnwick to Cornhill branch line railway initially headed south with the expensive diversion requiring a tunnel and a viaduct at Edlingham.
This is an air shaft to ventilate that tunnel.
