Foundation works for Forth Replacement Crossing, North Tower
The 32m diameter double-skinned steel caisson will be sunk into the seabed to form the outer skin of the concrete foundation of the north tower of the 3 tower cable -stayed bridge which is due to open to traffic in 2016. The caisson was fabricated in Poland.
