The Duke of Hamilton's Hunting Lodge
The Duke of Hamilton's Hunting Lodge
Chatelherault was built in 1732 and designed by William Adam. Hamilton Palace was a couple of miles away at the other end of the Grand Avenue. The palace has gone, but the hunting lodge was restored between 1979 and 1987 and is now the focus of the Chatelherault Country Park.
