The stones that form the famous circle are much more varied in size and shape than they are at Stonehenge for example. This one is about the same height as its neighbours but narrower. The stone seen here is the most southerly in the ring that, in this section of the circle, is inside the ditch. The image was taken fairly early in the day before there were many people about.
