Wesley Cottage, The Square

A grade II listed house of two storeys, probably early-mid C18. Coursed roughly-tooled sandstone, part herringbone. A pantiled roof with stone ridge, copings and kneelers, stone and brick stacks. Doorway under C20 bracketed gabled wood hood set against an old heavy lintel. Small pent shed at right holds plaque with head of John Wesley, commemorating his preaching here.
