Niche and pediment on the eastern facade of Finchcocks, Goudhurst
The niche was originally empty but has been occupied since the end of the nineteenth century by a statue of Queen Anne. The pediment over the front door has a military flavour with javelins and drums. It is topped by a wolf. Finchcocks is a Grade I listed Georgian manor house.
