The Pan Am Clipper Boeing B314 flying boat became the flying boat that people first thought of when recalling the flying boat era at Foynes, which was the hub of aviation activity between North America & Europe. Since none remained intact, a full-scale model was built in 10 months and transported in sections for installation at the west side of the museum building. Shown is the tail section which as seen from Main Street (N69). View is to southwest from Main Street (N69),
