The showground will take some time to recover from the flooding it faced on the day of the show.
Wigtown Agricultural Show 2012
Wigtown Show is Galloway’s longest running agricultural show and the oldest in Scotland. As well as a variety of attractions and entertainment throughout the day, some of the best livestock from all over south-west Scotland and beyond are showcased in the main arenas. This years show proved a challenge for everyone with 40mm of rainfall causing flooding throughout the showground and the cancellation of some events.
