The Three Bridges, Devil's Bridge
The Three Bridges, Devil's Bridge
The bridge carrying the A4120 over the Mynach (a tributary of the Rheidol) is in fact three bridges. The top bridge is an iron bridge which was built in 1901 over a stone bridge built in the eighteenth century. The stone bridge was built on top of the original bridge, built c1075c1200, perhaps by Cistercian monks of Strata Florida abbey.
