Snake Drove
Wantsum Walk across Chislet Marshes.
The Wantsum Walk (provided by David Anstiss)
A linear coastal walk in North Kent, which runs for 8 miles (12.8km) from Herne Bay to Birchington. The route is divided between clifftops and sea wall, leading to paths within Reculver Country Park. Inland are panoramic views of the low-lying marshes and dykes. There are strong connections with the former Wantsum Channel, which separated the Isle of Thanet from the mainland until Medieval times
The Wantsum Walk logo is a sailing ship. See TR2363 : Saxon Shore Way and Wantsum Walk Markers.
