Dickens House, Broadstairs
Dickens House, Broadstairs
This house in Broadstairs was the home of Miss Mary Peason Strong, a friend of Charles Dickens who was the inspiration for the character Betsey Trotwood in David Copperfield, Dickens' semi-autobiographical novel. Betsey was the great aunt of the title character. The house now houses a Dickens museum.
