The two planes can be seen doing the cross-over manoeuvre. After years of trying I've actually achieved the photograph I wanted of the two planes approaching one another at 400 miles per hour.
The Red Arrows - Seven Plane Formation

As a result of the unfortunate accidents in 2011 and the fact that the first female Red Arrows pilot left the team, the 2012 display programme comprises seven planes. However in 2013 the Red Arrows will once again perform with nine planes.
