Tring church - nearly midnight
The reason I was outside Tring church at a few minutes to midnight was that I, along with a few thousand others from Tring and the local area were waiting for the much delayed Paralympic Torch to arrive. The bell-ringers, who had also been waiting for the torch to arrive had lost patience by this time, rung their welcoming peel and dissipated !
