taken 14 years ago, near to Belfast, Co Antrim, Northern Ireland

Disguising mural, Belfast
Disguising mural, Belfast
There has been a move recently to disguise and/or hide many bits of dereliction between The Arches and the lower end of the Newtownards Road. This mural is one such example. It tries to hide a gable previously seen (left) in J3674 : Demolished buildings, east Belfast. The site is close to Connswater Street.
Nos 374-378 Newtownards Road, Belfast

Buildings on the Newtownards Road, opposite the Albertbridge Road, renovated and subsequently damaged by fire. Currently (February 2015) offered for sale. The photographs submitted by me appear as a matter of record only. I have no connection with any of the parties involved in the ownership or sale.
The site had the following planning permission (19 April 2007) “Z/2005/2375/F Erection of four storey building including ground floor retail unit and 8 No. apartments above. 374-378 Newtownards Road/1-7 Welland Street, Belfast”.
