NG6441 : Charlie buoy

taken 12 years ago, near to Inner Sound [water Feature], Highland, Great Britain

Charlie buoy
Charlie buoy
This buoy marks the southeastern corner of restrictions associated with the submarine exercise area in the Inner Sound. Within the marked area, fishing is not permitted, and within the central part, neither is anchoring. This means that submarines can move freely at all depths without fear of endangering themselves or others. Operations in the Inner Sound are coordinated from Range Control at the northeastern corner - NG6849 : BUTEC Range Terminal Building, Sand.

Despite the yellow colour of the buoy, I should point out that it is not the crock of gold at the end of this rainbow (I checked).
