The Polar Plunge at Cellardyke
The Polar Plunge at Cellardyke
One of the old open-air tidal swimming pools that once were so popular on Scotland's coast. This one, at Cellardyke, was known locally as the Polar Plunge, which certainly says something about North Sea water temperatures. The old turquoise tiles are still visible on the wall of the inner pool.
