The North Norfolk railway are rebuilding the long lost level crossing, Otterndorf green will go in January and the NR carpark in before Easter.
The crossing will be a track only and used max 12 times a year.

In February and March this year(2009) the line will host the 'thats yer lot' gala with 8 locomotives in steam. It is to remember the loss of most of the M&GN system on the 28th February 1959, although it has to be said the Sheringham to Melton Constable part closed under Beeching in 1964.
