This view of Kilroot power station, from the high ground behind Dorisland dam J3888 : Dorisland dam, Carrickfergus (2), shows how the building and particularly the chimney, dominates both Carrickfergus and Belfast Lough. The fly ash, from burning coal, can be seen at middle right and, behind it, a ship discharging coal.
