The M1 near Ardee (1)
This section of the M1 (the Dunleer bypass) opened in 1993. About five miles of new N road were added later linking this junction, at the Charleville Bridge, to Ardee. Before that Ardee traffic used the Slane road from Dublin. This is the view towards Dublin.
