Castle Mill, Brecon
Castle Mill, Brecon
Located on the west bank on the River Honddu, a few metres from its confluence with the River Usk.
A plaque Link records that this was a corn mill, one of five mills in and around the town in the Middle Ages. Water to power the mill was taken from the Honddu via a leat.
A view Link from 2007 shows that the building on the left has lost its white colour in the meantime.
