High Bridge Street, Newcastle
High Bridge Street, Newcastle
Looking down the street from the western end, where it connects with the bottom end of the Bigg Market. This is one of Newcastle's medieval streets, although none of the buildings survive from that era. The bridge it is named after has long since vanished, as has the stream it crossed.
