A large car park, between Frederick Street J3374 : Frederick Street, Belfast and Lancaster Street J3375 : Lancaster Street, Belfast, for which there is an application (September 2012) for the following planning permission “Application No: Z/2012/1034/F Location: Land at existing DRD surface car park at Frederick Street, Belfast, BT1 2LW Proposal: Mixed use regeneration scheme comprising 487 no. space multi storey car park, 707 square metre retail unit, landscaping and development of loading bay and signalised pedestrian crossing on Frederick Street”. Seven tower blocks built, in the 1960’s by Belfast Corporation, on the site of the Artillery barracks of 1797. Also known as Victoria Barracks.
