Alford Windmill - Wallower
The wallower cog in the cap which is off limits to the public. It transfers power from the brake wheel to the main shaft.
Alford Windmill - Lincolnshire
The large Lincolnshire mill built in 1837 by the well-known local millwright John Oxley. It ran until 1955 when milling technologies had made windmills redundant.
