SX6560 : Tramway loading bay

taken 12 years ago, near to Harford, Devon, England

Tramway loading bay
Tramway loading bay
This embankment adjacent to the former tramway may well be a loading bay, or unloading bay where wagons could be run and spoil or waste tipped off the end. Where's the Path shows this at the location I have shown, which suggests that the line of the tramway is inaccurately marked (too far to the south-west) on the 1:25,000 map.
