Evening on the Arun, Pulborough Brooks
Walking south from Pulborough village on this September evening, this was where I turned back. Up to this point the right of way follows a raised bank - part of which is said to have been a Roman causeway (now known as the Sussex Greensand Way). At this point the right of way turns left - south-east - and drops to the level of the Arun floodplain as it continues towards Fattingates.
