Norman nave and chancel, although rebuilt in 1867, with 14th C. tower with a short shingled spire.
The south wall has buttresses with shields bearing the arms of the Colepeper and Hardreshull families.
Inside there is a fine 14th C roof to the nave, with carved spandrels and crown posts. The chancel roof is 19th C.
Most of the present church was built by John Colepeper (Culpeper) in 1337. There was also a chantry chapel which was demolished at the dissolution of the monasteries and the money from the lead roof used for windows in the church.
There is a brass plaque in the north wall in memory of 7-year old Elizabeth Rowe (d. 1607).
The Piscina and font are 19th C. when a number of alterations were made to the church.
