RAF Coleby Grange derelict Watch Office
The derelict Watch Office for Night Fighter Stations 12096/41 at Coleby Grange is still in a fairly good state of repair, the windows and doors have long gone and the metal ladder up to the roof and control room 10413/42 is perilous and not to be attempted. The inside of the building has graffiti on the walls, broken glass and other debris accumulating, which is a shame considering its wartime importance.
Raf Coleby Grange opened in April 1940 and closed in 1946. A brief re-opening in 1959 as a Thor Missile site ended in 1963.
