Gathman's Cottage, Baumber
Gathman's Cottage is a Grade II listed building, built in the early 18th century and is thatched and of "mud and stud" construction. The cottage takes its name from the "Gathman" for whom it was originally built - local dialect for the stockman who looked after the cattle at Baumber. The cottage is now a self-catering property belonging to the Baumber Park Estate.
