SE5951 : Railway Station, York
taken 37 years ago, near to York, England
Railway Station, York
The pantograph is up, but the wires aren't. This may have been the first time an electric unit had ever visited York and been photographed there. Class 305935 couldn't have got there under its own power, the reason being that it was pre-electrification. I believe it was something to do with driver training.
The railway track is no longer here.
