The National Trust chose the old railway works area in Swindon as their new base. The building was designed by Feilden Clegg Bradley Architects in 2005, featuring the use of timbers from NT forests and wool from the Trust's herd of Herdwick Sheep in its construction.
Sadly, this attractive clock has been removed and put into storage pending changes to the area where it was situated. When and where it will re-appear is anyone's guess.
