TM3863 : Second new bridge and path

taken 6 years ago, near to Saxmundham, Suffolk, Great Britain

Second new bridge and path
Second new bridge and path
A new path down the side of the Waitrose store to the new Church Hill estate, passing over a bridge over the river Fromas. There is another new bridge, as shown in TM3863 : New path, new cladding.

The Fromas is hardly more than a stream now, but an archeological dig showed an extensive flood plain around it. It also revealed Roman and Bronze Age artefacts, dramatically changing the known history of the town.
