This statue was a gift of the Polish people to the British nation in the 1970s for its help in fighting Nazi tyranny. It is also inscribed as a memorial to the 250,000 Poles who fought under British Command “for your freedom and ours”.
South Bank Centre

Southbank Centre is one of the largest arts centres in the world, occupying a 21-acre site on the South Bank of the Thames. The site consists of the Royal Festival Hall (Grade I listed.
