Fryderyk Chopin Statue, Southbank
This statue was a gift of the Polish people to the British nation in the 1970s for its help in fighting Nazi tyranny. It is also inscribed as a memorial to the 250,000 Poles who fought under British Command “for your freedom and ours”.
