SM7525 : St Davids Cathedral, west front

taken 7 years ago, near to St David's, Pembrokeshire/Sir Benfro, Great Britain

St Davids Cathedral, west front
St Davids Cathedral, west front
Taken on a grey day, so the beautiful purple stone of the west front cannot be appreciated. The cathedral is unusual in that is isn't built on an exact W-E axis and also that there is a 14ft height difference inside between the west and east ends. A pound coin dropped from the collection plate could easily roll downhill to the west door.
