The arch of the lime kiln near Hanging Shaw
See NY6552 : Lime kiln near Hanging Shaw and NY6552 : Lime kiln near Hanging Shaw (2). This lime kiln seems to have a "double" arch and no (extant) small draw hole - the usual arrangement is shown in NY7752 : The right hand arch and draw holes of Ouston lime kiln.
There is a closely similar kiln about a mile to the southwest - see NY6551 : Lime kiln below Limestone Hill, NY6551 : Lime kiln and disused quarry below Limestone Hill and NY6551 : The arch of the lime kiln below Limestone Hill.
In February 2013 I visited another old lime kiln in the next valley to the east that had a similar arch - NY6750 : The arch of High Thornhope lime kiln.
