TQ5281 : Footpath to Rainham Marshes

This path leads to the A13 and Ferry Lane junction.
The path is used by National Cycle Network 13 and the London Loop (long distance path).
This route will connect Tower Bridge in London with Fakenham in Norwich. Passing through East London close to the Thames, Route 13 then heads north from Tilbury to Chelmsford in Essex. After a stretch on National Route 1 (also part of EuroVelo 2) National Route 13 resumes at Colchester and continues north to rejoin National Route 1 just south of Fakenham in Norfolk.

Starting at the Thames at Erith and finishing on the opposite north bank at Coldharbour, the Loop (London Outer Orbital Path) is 150 miles long, passing through numerous woods, commons and parks and on waterside paths alongside the Grand Union Canal and London rivers such as the Colne, Crane, Cray, Darent and Ingrebourne.
