Killyleagh Castle (1)
Killyleagh Castle (1)

Killyleagh Castle was built sometime between 1620 and 1625 and remodelled and extended in 1666 and 1850. It is said to be in the style of a Loire chateau with Scottish baronial overtones. It is still inhabited by the same family and is NOT open to the public. This is the castle seen through the entrance gate. It is shown on the OS map as a dot at the end of a lane and not as “Castle”.
