Charred circle, Great Lines Heritage Park
This large burnt circle is where the bonfire (of the 5th November - Bonfire's Night) was set on fire for the visitor's to the firework night.

Last year, it was in a different spot. See TQ7668 : All ending in Smoke, Great Lines Heritage Park (before the charred circle).
Great Lines Heritage Park, Chatham

The Great Lines is over 70 hectares of open space at the heart of Medway. Between Gillingham and Chatham.
The huge expanse of the Great Lines was in its own right a layer of defence to protect Chatham Dockyard from attack.
At its centre is the Chatham Naval War Memorial.
