Duchally Weir
Duchally Weir
In Glen Cassley, Duchally Weir forms the headpond from which water flows through a tunnel to Cassley Power Station on the NW shore of Loch Shin. Several aqueducts meet here and two small automatic turbines generate power from the inflow. The weir is actually a fairly substantial concrete dam structure and includes a fish lift.
