The City Council has invested heavily in Park-and-Ride systems around the City's outskirts and there are three sites: at Wincheap, New Dover Road and Sturry Road. The bus fare is included in the parking fee.
Buses from New Dover Road run into town along Old Dover Road stopping at the bottom of Ethelbert Road (the road leading to the Kent and Canterbury Hospital) and the Health Centre. The buses return from the city centre to the car park along New Dover Road calling at the Canterbury College bus stop near St Augustine's Road.
