This footbridge is located on a public footpath running towards a lay-by on Lindby Lane, i.e. the B6011 (approx 10 mins walk). On the opposite side of the bridge the path arrives at this bridge from the St James' Church direction. This is the River Leen and in common with much of the surrounding land and the leats that were constructed on it to serve a number of former water mills, it seems likely that these assets are still owned by the Cooperative Society. Top Upper Dam lies almost immediately behind the photographer.
