Derby - St Mary's Bridge
On the opposite side of the 18th century St Mary's Bridge - that carries Sowter Road across the River Derwent - sits St Mary's Chapel. This former RC chapel is one of only six surviving bridge chapels in England, this one dating in the main from the 14th century.
