NT2810 : Purple Plague

taken 13 years ago, near to Glenkerry, Scottish Borders, Great Britain

Purple Plague
Purple Plague
Welcoming signs on the boundary between the Forestry Commission's Craik Forest and the private Buccleuch Forest. Both holdings are similar in appearance, a lot of Buccleuch is clearfelled now too.
The boundary is shown by an unnecessary purple line on the OS map. The access situation is identical on either side, both in law, and wishes of the owners, so why spoil such a fine map?
