I don't know what the strange pagoda like structure with helicopter blades on the top is. In the background is the Premier Inn. On the right is the "Triangle" shopping centre, formerly the Manchester Corn Exchange.
Christmas Market, Manchester
The European style Christmas market is an annual event in Manchester. It is spread across the city centre, including Albert Square, St Ann's Square and Exchange Square. The market includes food, drink and arts & crafts from a variety of European countries (France, Germany, Holland, Spain, Hungary etc).

The Triangle Shopping Centre
The Triangle is a grade II listed building. The building was originally used as a corn exchange and was previously named the Corn & Produce Exchange. Following the IRA bomb in 1996 it was renovated and is now a modern shopping centre.
