SD4864 : Maize crop

taken 9 years ago, near to Slyne, Lancashire, Great Britain

Maize crop
Maize crop
No attempt has been made to harvest this crop - I presume it's too late now. The frozen puddles give a clue as to why - too much rain.
Compare with Rod's 2008 photo SD4864 : Maize field, showing the same field.
If the planned Heysham to M6 link road is built, the dual-carriageway will plough through this field in a cutting.
