A hawthorn on Little Kinmond
A hawthorn on Little Kinmond
This stunted specimen grows on its own in an area of limestone pavements and rough grassland. I managed to take a picture during a brief spell of sun which soon passed. Along the skyline are the North Pennines rising out of the unseen Eden Valley.
